EPlug Kiosk Enclosure Wrap

A branded wrap for the grey enclosure the client built around the payment terminal — “the grey part, with like the eplug logos etc.” Received as a 15-second video plus two messages.

Reading of the request. Two messages — “a wrap around for this device” and “rope run for this device” — are treated as the same request (the second looks like voice-to-text for “wrap around”). To confirm with the client before any work; if “rope run” means something else, it becomes a fourth task.

What the client sent (verbatim)

In the video: “Look at this. I have these little boxes and I cut out like the center and we made this.”
and maybe a wrap around for this device, the grey part, with like the eplug logos etc.
and maybe rope run for this device
Eight frames from the client's video: a light-grey enclosure with a black payment terminal set into a centre cut-out
Frames from the video, 2 s apart. A light-grey box enclosure with four corner screws; a rectangular centre cut-out holds a black payment terminal with a screen and a small yellow label. Filmed on an office counter — this is the pay kiosk the sign in Task 02 points at.

Open questions

  1. 1
Is “rope run” the same request as “wrap around”?blocks scope
  2. 2
Enclosure dimensions: width × height × depth, cut-out size and position, screw positions, lid seamblocks artwork
A make/model number is enough — the manufacturer's drawing gives exact dimensions.
  3. 3
Which faces are wrapped — front only, or front + sides + top?
  4. 4
Printer and material: laminated adhesive vinyl? Does the vendor have a template or spec?
  5. 5
Content: logos only, or also “PAY HERE”, the three steps, a QR code, a support number?
The sign in Task 02 already carries the steps; the wrap may only need the brand.
  6. 6
How many units, and are they all the same enclosure?
  7. 7
    Deadline
Next step
Ask for the enclosure dimensions or model number and the vinyl vendor. Until then the deliverable is a look proposal mocked onto the video frame; the dieline and print file follow the measurements.
