EV Charging Kiosk Sign — 4′ × 2′

A big, bold wall sign mounted directly above the payment kiosk. The client's brief fixes the copy and its hierarchy; the design job is the visual system, the arrow and the print file.

Summary

Client
Brand Lift for EPlug (Energy Plus EV division)
Placement
Wall-mounted, directly above the kiosk
Size
4 ft × 2 ft (48 × 24 in), landscape
Purpose
Pull people to the kiosk to pay and start charging. Include a downward arrow pointing at the kiosk.
Location partner
Icon Parking handles all vehicle/valet procedures — the sign is only about the kiosk.
Copy
Locked by the brief (below)
Deliverable
Print-ready PDF (vector, CMYK, bleed per vendor) + a mockup preview above a kiosk
Related
Task 03 — the wrap goes on the same kiosk the arrow points at; the two should read as one system
Deadline
Not stated — to confirm
Status
Brief received as a document screenshot; transcribed in full in 01-materials/kiosk-sign-brief.md

Sign copy — verbatim from the brief

Headline · largest, boldest text
EV CHARGING HERE
Subhead · pointing to kiosk
PAY HERE ↓
(Large downward arrow graphic, pointing straight down at the kiosk screen)
Steps · numbered, simple, bold
  1. PLUG IN — Plug your vehicle into the charger.
  2. SELECT — Choose the connected plug on the kiosk screen.
  3. PAY & CHARGE — Process your payment — you're all set.

Layout implications

Hierarchy
Three levels, fixed order
Headline dominates; “PAY HERE ↓” second; the three steps small but bold and readable from a few metres in a garage.
Arrow
Bottom centre, straight down
The kiosk sits directly under the sign, so the arrow lands at the bottom edge, centred on the kiosk screen. Nothing else below it.
Setting
Parking garage
Low light, concrete, distance reading. High contrast and large type matter more than detail; brand colour needs a legibility check.

Scope

Open questions

  1. 1
Brand lockup — EPlug only, or EPlug with the Icon Parking logo?blocks design
  2. 2
Print vendor spec: substrate (aluminium composite, PVC, vinyl on board), bleed, safe area, file requirements
  3. 3
Colour direction: EPlug brand palette, or high-visibility (e.g. yellow/black) for the garage?
  4. 4
Indoor or outdoor, and what light is on the wall?
  5. 5
Anything besides the copy — QR code, support phone, EPlug web address?
The brief lists none; adding them is a client decision.
  6. 6
Deadline and quantity (one location or several?)
  7. 7
Please send the brief document itself

Next step
Confirm the lockup and the vendor spec. Layout can start immediately from the locked copy; the mockup will show the sign above the kiosk from Task 03 so both are approved together.
